Fortune Brands
(August prior to acquisition in 2023)
Senior Product Designer (Mar 2024 - Now)
Product Designer (Feb 2022 - Mar 2024)
At Fortune Brands, I developed deep expertise in designing IoT products for brands including Yale Home, August, and Master Lock.
After leading design work for the Yale Keypad and Assure 2 Touch, both featuring keypads with fingerprint scanners, I became the design team’s go-to authority on access management within the Yale and August apps. Drawing on insights from user interviews, product reviews, and my own experience, I identified critical usability issues and led a complete redesign of the access management experience.

Azibo
Product Designer
At Azibo, I contributed to multiple areas of the platform, including payments, properties, the dashboard, shared management, and the tenant experience, while improving the design system and font styles for a more approachable UI.
I led the design of a new insurance center to boost quote requests and provide a useful document storage solution. Partnering with the insurance team and end users, I quickly developed expertise in landlord insurance to ensure the product met both user needs and industry standards.
Throughout this work, I established best practices for design reviews, handoffs, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering in a fast-paced start-up environment.

UEGroup
UX/UI Intern
I led the design of a pet-focused app for T-Mobile, taking the project from early ideation through high-fidelity prototypes delivered to the client for development. My work included market research, focus group testing, and usability testing to ensure the concept resonated with users.
I also introduced Protopie to the team after researching prototyping tools, quickly learning it while building interactive prototypes. As the primary point of contact with the client, I managed communications, presentations, and reports, ensuring alignment and a smooth handoff to development.
